Privacy Notice

1. Controller

2. What data we process

When you sign up for the Sumrak newsletter list, we process:

  • Your email address — the one you enter in the form
  • Sign-up time and IP address — stored by our newsletter provider to document your double-opt-in consent (a GDPR requirement)
  • Confirmation time — when you click the link in the confirmation email

When you only visit the site, server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) are written by our hosting provider. These are deleted after 7 days.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process your email address only to inform you, by email, about Sumrak’s development progress and launch.

The legal basis is your consent under GDPR Art. 6 (1)(a). You may withdraw consent at any time, without consequences, by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or writing to privacy@sumrak.gg.

4. Recipients / processors

The following services process data on our behalf (GDPR Art. 28 data processors):

  • Acumbamail S.L. (Spain) — newsletter delivery and subscription management. Server location: EU. Processing under EU GDPR.
  • Netcup GmbH (Germany) — website server hosting. Server location: Nuremberg, Germany.

No data is transferred to third countries outside the EU.

5. Retention

  • Newsletter email: for as long as you are subscribed, plus retention of sign-up records as required to evidence consent under GDPR.
  • Server logs: 7 days.

6. Your rights

At any time you have the right to:
- access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
- complaint to a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

7. Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics services. The only browser-side storage is your audio preference (volume, on/off) in localStorage. That data does not leave your browser.
